Global iGuerilla Update

Fracture

Wednesday, July 8, 2015

Another statelet has emerged in Syria north of Raqqa, the IS Caliphate capital. Kurdistan is the largest contiguous chunk of land ripped out of IS hands. The Kurds are consolidating their control and there’s nowhere to go but Raqqa since the Turks won’t allow them go north.

In a now familiar pattern, the Kurds are cleansing their territory along sectarian and tribal lines just like; IS in Mosul, the Iraqi Shia in Tikrit and Hizballah along the Lebanese border.

Assyrian Christians and Lebanese Druze are solidifying defensive positions in their traditional homelands and the Gulf Arabs are turning up the heat in Yemen where Yemini and Houthi regions are taking shape.

The Arab Middle East is devolving to the warlord bandit days of Ibn Saud and Abd al-Wahhab.
